In the future, this process will be carried out electronically by expressing the values of intangible cultural heritage on the new web site <a href=\"https:\/\/nematerialakultura.lv\/en\/\">www.nematerialakultura.lv<\/a>. Deadline for submission of applications: 15 June of that year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis site has been expected since the beginning of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2017,\u201d says LNKC intangible cultural heritage expert Gita Lanzer. \u201cWe worked very seriously so that the process of preparing and submitting applications on the website is relatively simple and technically clearly structured so that the applicants can easily obtain expert advice during writing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IN the spring OF THE LNKC, it is planned to organise informative workshops on the preparation and submission of applications in the new platform. We will be informed about the events of the seminars shortly!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National SNA lists each year elements which constitute State-protected values within the meaning of THE SNA. There is a wide range of Community support and participation in the list. Currently, there are 24 elements in the list: Carnikavas nigu catching and processing, glassware in Livans, Gauja plosters' skills, May singing in North Latgale and Dagda District, Inter Ermo\u0146ika and Petersburg game, Peak Orthodox wedding ritual and others, including several \u2013 suiti, Livonian, Rucava and rivers \u2013 cultural spaces. Applications submitted to the list shall be assessed by the Council of intangible cultural heritage by inviting experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIntangible cultural heritage\u201d means knowledge, skills and customs to be transferred from generation to generation, from the master of the master, thus preserving the future. This initiative is topical around the world, because it is important for people to maintain their identity and the uniqueness of their culture during today's globalisation, \"SAYS Lanzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The site www.nematerialakultura.lv be developed within the framework of the \u201cdigitisation of cultural heritage content\u201d project with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.
