In a formal ceremony in Vilaka Cultural House, the attestations were received by the applicants in 2020 and in 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For inclusion in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, five values were confirmed at the end of 2020:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>May Devotional Singing at Wayside Crucifixes in Northern Latgale\u00a0<\/strong>(applicant Vilaka municipality municipality)<\/li><li><strong>Making Patterned, Double-Knit Mittens in Mazsalaca\u00a0<\/strong>(Applicant Mazsalacas Cultural House)<\/li><li><strong>Skill of the glass bladder in Livans\u00a0<\/strong>(Applicant Livani municipality council Latgale art and craft centre)<\/li><li><strong>The tradition of building and playing the towel\u00a0<\/strong>(The applicant \u201cSka\u0146umai\u201d)<\/li><li><strong>Weaving on P\u0113teris Vi\u013cumson's Semi-Automatic Single-Treadle Looms\u00a0<\/strong>(Applicant SIA \u201cmailboxes factory\u201d).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For inclusion in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, six values are confirmed in 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Traditions and skills of Latvian ethnographic mittens<\/strong>&nbsp;(Applicant's People's Chat Centre \u201cancient rock\u201d)<\/li><li><strong>Sa\u013cmes in St\u0113rn\u012bne. Traditional psalm and funeral chants in Stirniene &nbsp;<\/strong>(Applicant Stirnienes Friends Society)<\/li><li><strong>Latvian card game zol\u012bte&nbsp;<\/strong>(pieteic\u0113js Martins)<\/li><li><strong>\u201cPuzuri\u201d and the craft of making them in Jelgava&nbsp;<\/strong>(applicant for the \u201cculture\u201d of the municipality of Jelgava)<\/li><li><strong>Weaving of Patterned Zemgale Skirts Using Drawlooms&nbsp;<\/strong>(Applicant SIA \u201cAustras articles\u201d)<\/li><li><strong>Dance tradition in Riga&nbsp;<\/strong>(the applicant's association \u201ctraditional cultural centre\u201d).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">More information on values can be read\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nematerialakultura.lv\/en\/\">www.nematerialakultura.lv<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Vilaka has been selected as the venue for the ceremony because of the first application FOR THE SNA list in 2017, as well as because of the fact that four of the 30 values are presented directly from the Vilnius municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The Intangible Cultural Heritage List provides for the establishment of an Intangible Cultural Heritage Act adopted in 2016.
