We encourage folklore and folk music industry representatives and other stakeholders to apply for professional development courses on March 10.
The courses will cover the following topics:
- lecture 1: sound basics (work on sound technology, production of technical Raiders, communication with technical staff. Instructor – Kaspars Barbala.
- lesson 2: Working with the Spectators. Examples of good practice, communication, methods of cooperation. Teacher - Iveta Tal.
- lecture 3: instrumental music in archives. Digital archive of JVLMA traditional music; collections and materials available in the archive; work with the archive; recordings and game of traditional musical instruments. Instructor – Oscar Patiano.
These are fee courses of 8 academic hours. The estimated cost for all classes is EUR 28 in total. You can also choose only specific lectures. Participation will be ensured both in person (LNKC premises, Z.A.Meierovica Boulevard 14, Riga) and remotely.
